| The ASCS made their appearance at
Kennedale Speedway Park on 06/27/2008. They put on quite a
show along with Street Stock, Dwarf Cars, 600 Mini Sprints and not
to be out done by the "Big Boys" the Young Guns Mini Stocks put on a
great show. The midway was filled with fans long before the
races started. They had vendors, display cars and the
concession stand had lines of people waiting to get in on the great
food being served. It proved to be a an action packed evening
of racing and provided exciting fun for the crowd. Look for
more tomorrow! See the video below. DURING THE JULY 4TH WEEKEND KENNEDALE SPEEDWAY PARK WITH THE HELP OF IMCA HAS AGREED TO HOLD A RELIEF FUND DRIVE TO HELP THE FLOOD VICTIMS IN THE MIDWEST! DONATION CONTAINERS WILL BE LOCATED AT THE CONCESSION STAND, FRONT GATE, PIT ENTRANCE. ALL OF THE MONEY THAT IS COLLECTED ON JULY 3RD AND JULY THE 5TH WILL BE GOING TO THE RED CROSS. IMCA HAS AGREED TO RECEIVE THE MONEY AND TO MAKE SURE IT GOES TO THE RED CROSS IN THE IOWA AREA. Mike |
